Plug Ins and Themes for PB version 5

Hi everyone. As you may have noticed we are upgraded to proboards version 5 which means al the old themes and codes no longer work.

Version 5 comes with plugins and I have installed a few. Now the themes are different too. Some have been updated and I have installed one. If you wish to view it just head to edit profile and under settings, choose the celtic tin. When Becca updates a few more of hers, we may get lucky and get the old theme we had so if I find it I will def install it.

Now the beauty of version 5 is that we can have mutiple themes for you to choose from. We could never do that before. So I hope to be able to find some stunning ones once those that are smart enough to make them do make them LOL

Now since we have the shout box I will not be keeping up with the chat box. We are trying to figure out how to add the shout box to the top. But give us time, we will figure it out.

I have found a money hack but it requires a key to operate. Keys can be bought but I do not know how much for it seems only the owner may purchase them (or she needs to give me permission) For I am not against buying a few.

I hope with these changes that some of you are more happy.

Now as Sunshine has said, in order to use the new version, you must register with proboards with each character you use. It is not hard, a little time consuming to start but once done it is easy, for when you log in it will give you a choice of which character Something I was going to install with the old version so I like this one.

So onwards to find some more plugins we can use. . . and thanks for bearing with us.

UPDATES: A few themes have now been installed so head to edit Profile then settings and choose the one you like. Over time we hope to give you more and maybe even a few HP styled themes. I am currently using the blackity black one, its quite nice.

I am in the process of adding a money system back, the plugins are installed but there are still a couple issues that need to be addressed. But it is a work in process. I am looking into a plugin to add some stats to the mini profile. Also I have just discovered how to reverse the topic reply again. WOOHOO.

We are still getting used to this new version and as I have stated before it all takes time. But we hope to bring you a even more awesome site with these new features.

I think the blackity black one is the nicest. You are doing a great job honey Especially like the top logo. I look forward to seeing the money hack back and of course more stats in the mini profile. Good luck with it all.

Thanks Tommy. Ok update on the bank. It is now operational and you can find the link up the top on the main bar right after chat. You will earn 2 galleons per post and sorry it will not backdate to the posts you have already made. But on that note if you give me time I will go back and manually add 2 galleons per post for you. But this will take time. I will also readd all money that was given over the months (as in pay) and all students will once again get the 75g.

Now you can now add any amount to the bank and earn 4% interest on it. In time (as the developers make them) this system will allow us to be able to pay others (when we buy stuff) loan money and invest in the stockmarket.

So I guess on that note it makes our Goblin a little out of date though he will still look after the vaults for your valuable items. Any money deposited in the vaults will be transferred to the bank.

From here on I will making any payments to anyone. You can earn by making posts. 6 galleons for starting a post, 2 to reply and 1 for a quick reply. If you bank and earn interest then it should make some for you. I trust also when we able to pay others when we buy something that we will be honest and do so.



Everyone seems to have a deposit of 10,000 in their bank account. That was Belle's original deposit so not sure why everyone got it but be assured that from here on that your bank account is private and no one else can touch it. Also no one else will know what you have in you bank but they will see what you have in hand.

Happy News. I have insalled a pluging that will now let you spell check. A feature I missed so I am sure others have too.

I have also update the money plugin so you now earn interest and I will be editing that periodically for the interest rate. Upcoming features will include investing and being able to pay ohter members so I will keep an eye on it and keep us upgraded as they are done.

I am always on the lookout for new plug ins, so if there is any you may want just OWL me and ask and I shall go look

Update to Test : The plugin I had to hide the Edit by in posts (when we edit) seemes to conflict with one of the others so had stopped working. I always hated the edit bym it's untidy so I have found the code that writes it and have take it out. So now when you edit it wont pop that edit by on th ebottom of the page.

Now not sure this spell checker is working. . .

Thanks Tommy. Now for a new plugin.

This one allows you to be able to add a relationship status to your profile. You can set this yourself when editing your profile. Click the personal tab and you find it down the bottom. Check out my profile to get a preview, but please make sure the other person agrees if you wish to add who the relationship is with.

Enjoy , I thought this could be a little fun and if you wish a relationship that is not on offer, just drop me a PM.

Just an update on the Bank. I keep checking for new features but nothing yet. I will keep checking for he does promise the abilty to buy and sell and loan. I will let you know if anything changes with that.

If you have not noticed, a new link up in the Navigation Bar has been added. It is called Shops and it works in conjunction with the bank. So far there is 3 categories , Wands, First Year Books and a the Apothecary. It takes time to do each item so bear with me. In time I will be adding second and third year books, a pet shop, cauldrons etc

I would like each student to buy what is required for each year. You get 75G to start then earn by posting. Plus everyone got a bonus of 10,000 in their bank so no one should complain they do not have enough. You pay from the money you carry around. For those who do not know, each post also earns you some interest in the bank. But you only get this once a day.

There are 18 wands on offer but PLEASE... Just buy one. Like in the HP world, we all just get one. I give you the choice so once you have chosen just ignore the Wand section. Also Just buy one PET thanks. The Apothecary also have limits on how many you can buy.

I hope you enjoy this new feature and I have been talking to the guy who created it and he is working on being able to pay others. So if you buy a wand then you pay Mr Ollivander. I will let you know when this feature arises

Update on the Shop.

I have updating a few items. Apothecary is now all stocked. Students please only buy basic ingreients. You will have research that yourself sorry. Three publications are on on offer. Take a years subscription for only 1G for the Daily Prophet, the Quibbler and Witch Weekly. Flourish and Botts is also a new category featuring more dangerous books that students are not allowed but adults are. I will be looking into more books and maybe even holiday packages and some more clothing (that is not uniform)

Keep and eye out on the shop for new items, and remember I do ask everyone get a wand, a pet if they want and all students are required to buy a set of robes, a scarf and their respective books.

And only 3rd years and above may buy honeydukes items. Lets keep this in respective of the books thanks.

OK, Ive had to update the bank and shop to make them work again. Nobody lost any money during this process but due to the reformat of the shop feature, we have lost all the items so I need to reupload them. The good news is that after I asked them they complied so now all shops have their own category, making it easier to navigate. New features include having the option to return items and also gift items to other members.

The new bank features which I have not activated yet is being able to earn money (Like a monthly wage) and also to play the stockmarket. Also the ability to pay peole for stuff. I need to look into these features a bit more to see how they work before I turn them on so at the moment it is just the old fashion bank we all love and know and posting will continue to earn you gold and interest.

So once again bear with me as I readd all the shop items.

Another update. I have turned on the stockmarket, new link up top *Invest* .. You got a few options and if you choose to invest then it will come from your pocket not what you have in the bank.

Thanks to this new version I am now going back to correct that mistake of 10,000 everyone got credited with but I have left everyone with at least 1000 in the bank. If you have earned interest in this time I did leave it.

A few items are up in the shop. New features of this is now you can return items . Example if you are first grade and bought all the first year boks, you may sell them back to buy the 2nd year books. Plus there is sometimes the accidental buy. Plus you can also gift others which is cool.

I still have not figured out how to pay money to others, but I will and I have set up a wage for Professors and Ministry as well as Witches and Wizards. It is a test at this stage, to see if it works and how it works. It will be paid monthly ((( if it works)))

I installed this new smilie plugin and hmmmmm. Works in quick reply but not in a full reply post for some reason. I am not sure what is going on but I will certainly try and get it working properly.
